Graduated in Medicine on October 14, 1985 with a final classification of 15 .
Has been working as a Pneumology Assistant, by permanent appointment following a recruitment procedure, at Hospital de São Marcos, Braga, since January 9, 1995.
Obtained the title of Consultant in Pneumology /Assistant Graduate since April 22, 2002.
After a recruitment procedure, is Head of Department / Assistant Senior Graduate in Pneumology as per the hospital medical career, appointed by Deliberation n.º 467/2009. D.R. n.º 30, Série II of 2009-02-12 Head of Department /Assistant Senior Graduate in Pneumology.
Holds the title of Pneumology Specialist after being admitted by consensus to the National Medical Council respective Specialty on December 17, 1994.
Obtained the title of the Sub-Specialty of Intensive Care Medicine, according to deliberation of the National Medical Council's executive board on September 29, 1998.
Hospital Coordinator at Hospital de Braga since August 1, 2008.
Completed the TPM Course – “Transplant Procurement Management - “Participated and successfully concluded the Advanced Course on Transplant Coordination (Transplant Procurement Manegement – TPM) held between November 2nd and 6th, 2009, taught by IL3 (Institute for LifeLong Learning) – Universitat de Barcelona.
