Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and specialist in General Surgery at Pedro Hispano Hospital.
Experience in Colorectal Surgery and Proctology at the Local Health Unit of Entre Douro e Vouga.
Holder of the European Board in Abdominal Wall Surgery, currently dedicated to this area, performing the functions of Coordination of the Abdominal Wall Unit at Pedro Hispano Hospital.
Participation in Scientific Societies, being a member of the Abdominal Wall Chapter of the SPCIR and of the Board of the Portuguese Association of Outpatient Surgery.
