Spinal disorders (herniated discs, cervical and lumbar, narrow lumbar canal, spinal fractures, and cervical myelopathy); Treatment focuses on minimally invasive techniques using the latest technology, namely spinal endoscopy.

Specialist in orthopedics with a focus on spinal surgery, particularly minimally invasive surgery.
He holds a degree in medicine from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a PhD in medicine from Universidade do Minho.
He is currently the Director of Orthopedics at ULS do Médio Ave and a professor at the School of Medicine at Universidade do Minho.
He is intensely involved in clinical practice and research in the field of spinal pathology and surgery.
His scientific activity focuses on the development of new biomaterials and new surgical procedures.
Active participation in initiatives for the prevention and education of spinal health.
