Breve CV

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Porto (2007).
She completed her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences in 2014, conducting research at Queen Mary University of London.
She was a researcher and lecturer at the Human Nutrition Unit, University of Auckland, where she coordinated New Zealand’s participation in the PREVIEW clinical trial (2013–2018).
In 2018, she returned to Portugal, working as a consultant at HeartGenetics – Genetics & Biotechnology for a short period before returning to clinical and academic practice.
Since 2019, she has been an assistant professor at NOVA Medical School and practices clinical nutrition at CUF Descobertas and CUF Tejo Hospitals.
She earned the title of specialist in Clinical Nutrition in 2021, the year in which the Portuguese Order of Nutritionists began awarding specialties.
