Rheumatology is a medical specialty dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of clinical (non-surgical) diseases of the locomotor system (inflammatory, infectious, degenerative, metabolic diseases).
Lusíadas Saúde Rheumatology Units are comprised of teams of specialists with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, lupus, and arthrosis.
The Rheumatology department at Lusíadas Saúde works in close collaboration with other medical specialty areas in order to guarantee a multidisciplinary approach adapted to the needs of each patient.
